EDUCATION PRIORITIES
TEACHER PAY

By voting to kill the school choice bill, Rep. Reggie Smith also voted against $4,000 teacher pay raises and $95 million in additional funding for  local public schools.

ACCESS

Access to a quality education should be available to all Texas children, not just a select few who can afford it, like Rep. Reggie Smith. But by voting against school choice, Smith blocked access to good schools for Texas students.

FUND CHILDREN

School choice empowers parents to choose the best education option for their children that best meets their needs. But Reggie Smith opposes school choice and would rather fund underperforming public schools than fund kids.

Backed By Liberal Groups Trying To Turn Texas Blue

Did you know that Reggie Smith is endorsed and supported by liberal unions? These unions are the same liberal organizations that are working with George Soros to turn Texas into a blue state.

Weakening Border Security

Reggie Smith voted to allow soft-on-the-border members on Texas’s Border Security Advisory Council.

Reduced Criminal Sentences

Reggie Smith makes our communities less safe. He even voted with liberals to reduce criminal sentences, creating a revolving door at the courthouse where criminals are let in and let out without real punishment – making it harder on our law enforcement.

Blocked School Choice for Parents

Reggie Smith voted against Gov. Abbott’s plan to give Texas parents the right to select schools, whether public or private, for their children, even though over 73% of Republican voters in our district support school choice.
