EDUCATION PRIORITIES
TEACHER PAY

By voting to kill the school choice bill, Rep. John Kuempel also voted against $4,000 teacher pay raises and $118 million in additional funding for local public schools.

ACCESS

Access to a quality education should be available to all Texas children, not just a select few who can afford it, like Rep. John Kuempel. But by voting against school choice, Kuempel blocked access to good schools for Texas students.

FUND CHILDREN

School choice empowers parents to choose the best education option for their children that best meets their needs. But John Kuempel opposes school choice and would rather fund underperforming public schools than fund kids.

Backed By Liberal Groups Trying To Turn Texas Blue

Did you know that John Kuempel is endorsed and supported by liberal unions? These unions are the same liberal organizations that are working with George Soros to turn Texas into a blue state.

Tax and Spend Liberal

Rep. John Kuempel is a tax and spend liberal, voting against property tax relief and pushing a $10 billion mileage tax on driving that would cost you more money just to own property and drive your own vehicle.

Weakening Border Security

John Kuempel voted to keep soft-on-the-border members on Texas’s Border Security Advisory Council. Kuempel also joined with liberals in voting to divert funds away from border security.

Blocked School Choice for Parents

John Kuempel voted against Gov. Abbott’s plan to give Texas parents the right to select schools, whether public or private, for their children, even though over 88% of Republican voters in his district support school choice.
