Brittany Black is unfit to serve in the Texas House of Representatives because of her dangerous criminal history. According to the reporting, she pled guilty to felony cocaine possession, was charged with a DUI and led police on a 120-mph chase that resulted in her crashing her car into a ditch. Texans can’t trust Brittany Black to write state laws when she has demonstrated her blatant disregard for them.
❌ OPPOSES PARENTAL RIGHTS
Brittany Black is running to oppose Texas’ school choice program that empowers parents with more say in their child’s education and provides scholarships to primarily low-income students and students with disabilities. She will not defend parental rights and would take away scholarships from children who desperately need them.
❌ WOULD RAISE COSTS ON SMALL BUSINESSES
At a time when prices are high, Brittany Black would raise costs on small businesses that will hurt their ability to create jobs. Black’s radical economic agenda would stifle Texas’ economic growth and harm Texas’ energy producers, raising utility bills for working families.
