He knows high prices and taxes are crushing families which is why Paul Wickensimer voted to increase the homestead exemption by $25,000 and sponsored the bill to double the homestead exemption for qualifying seniors and disabled South Carolinians.

Paul Wickensimer is fighting to protect the integrity of girls’ sports and will oppose any efforts to allow men to compete in girls’ sports. Wickensimer also voted to keep biological men out of women’s bathrooms and changing rooms.

Paul Wickensimer is committed to strengthening South Carolina schools so that all students can access a high-quality education. Wickensimer voted to expand school choice, putting parents back in the driver’s seat for their child’s education. He also voted to increase teacher pay, because she knows how hard they work to educate the next generation of South Carolinians. And his work is paying off. South Carolina has seen rising test scores, student academic growth, gains in career-and-college readiness and improvements in literacy rates since he’s been in office.
