Harriet Holman is fighting to make South Carolina affordable again for working families. She knows high prices and taxes are crushing families which is why Harriet Holman voted to increase the homestead exemption by $25,000 and sponsored the bill to expand the homestead exemption for qualifying seniors by $100,000.

Harriet Holman is fighting to protect the integrity of girls’ sports and will oppose any efforts to allow men to compete in girls’ sports. Holman also voted to keep biological men out of women’s bathrooms and changing rooms.

Harriet Holman is committed to strengthening South Carolina schools so that all students can access a high-quality education. Holman voted to expand school choice, putting parents back in the driver’s seat for their child’s education. She also voted to increase teacher pay, because she knows how hard teachers work to educate the next generation of South Carolinians. And her work is paying off. South Carolina has seen rising test scores, student academic growth, gains in career-and-college readiness and improvements in literacy rates since she’s been in office.
