Parents should be able to put their children in schools that align to their values and beliefs. By voting to kill school choice in Nebraska, Sen. Quick would force parents to send their kids to schools that don’t match their family’s values.
Parents should be allowed to choose the best school for their child regardless of where they live to make sure their child can access the educational setting that works for them. Sen. Quick voted to prevent Nebraska families in failing schools from having the ability to find better options for their kids.
School choice gives parents accountability over education rather than the government, but Sen. Quick voted to protect schools over students.
